Boss schedules daily end-of-day meetings, new hire discovers they're unpaid and quietly leads office-wide rebellion just by leaving at 5 p.m.: 'All it took was one person'

• Now, imagine being required to attend a team meeting at 4:55 every single day, only to find out you’re not even getting paid for it. That's what happened to one new hire who discovered that these daily “end-of-day” meetings were technically unpaid despite being technically classified as overtime. Instead of raising a fuss, he simply did the most revolutionary thing of all. He started leaving promptly at 5.
